Soil Probe
Foster Creek Conservation District has a soil probe available for weekly rentals. This gator soil probe offers the benefits of a “closed-end” soil probe, but the hinged jaw allows it to transform into an “open-ended” soil probe, providing easy access to the entire soil core. This soil probe is outfitted with a foot peg that allows the user to easily step the probe into the ground. This probe is ideal for composite sampling or field extraction of representative cores for subsequent analysis by a soil lab. Standing 42" tall with a sample recovery length of 12" and an inner diameter of 9/16", this probe is perfect for all your soil sampling needs!
The soil probe is available to rent in one-week increments from Thursdays to Wednesdays. You can reserve the chipper up to one month in advance.
Soil Probe Policies

The soil probe is available for pick up Thursdays and dropped off on the following Wednesday.

To hold your reservation a hold for the price of the equipment will be placed on your card. A rental fee of $53.01 will be charged 24 hours before your scheduled pick-up time. If equipment is returned late, a charge of $20 per day it's late will be charged

The soil probe comes as pictured; you are responsible for transporting the probe to your desired location and back.

Rental Calendar
Payments
Currently, we can only accept payments via credit card. Once your rental time and date are confirmed by a member of our staff, a hold will be placed on your card to reserve your slot. On the date on your reservation the rental fee above will be charged. If you have any questions about payments, please email financials@fostercreekcd.org .
