This year’s Make a Difference Day was a huge success, 25 volunteers attended and helped plant 1,500 Big Sagebrush seedlings across 600 acres! Collectively over 100 volunteer hours were applied to this project in one afternoon. We are beyond grateful to all the volunteers and partner agencies who came to help with this event, including Conservation Northwest, Aspect Consulting, and Community Foundation of NCW who donated resources and time to ensure this event was a success. These plantings will help reestablish sage grouse habitat in an area that was badly burned during the 2020 Pearl Hill Fire. We couldn’t have done it without you!
