Our district manager, Amanda, left Foster Creek after seven years of service, she’s gone on to work as the Executive Director of the Upper Columbia Salmon Recovery Board in Wenatchee. While at FCCD she initiated the Direct Seed Program, worked as a Planner, lead the negotiation of several different contracts, partnerships, and grant opportunity that helped propel the district to where it is today. We appreciate all Amanda brought to Foster Creek CD!
Angie, our water quality specialist, left Foster Creek with over four years of service and has taken a new position as the Inland Northwest Pollinator Habitat Specialist for the Xerces Society. While at FCCD Angie took up the reigns of the water quality program and helped organize county resource data for VSP. She also enjoyed spending time in the world of education and outreach creating meaningful and lasting relationships with area schools and agencies.
We will miss them but look forward to working with them in different capacities to help with conservation in our area! Congratulations on your new adventures!
